Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving ‘08

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a great day. I love getting together with family, and that is what that day is all about!! We ate, relaxed, ate, visited, ate and played games. My friend, Sara, was in town for Thanksgiving and stayed through the weekend. I had fun spending time with her!! I feel very thankful and blessed to have such wonderful, supportive and fun family and friends. You are all the best!!  Thank you!!

Bailey let Grammy win!

Bailey loves games

Last night Bailey and I spent the night with Mom and Grammy because the guys were out of town.  We had a great time!  Bailey’s favorite part was playing The Mexican Train Game!

I love having a dog.  She is so much fun and such a good girl!!  I am very thankful for Bailey.  (The post about me being thankful for my family will come later!!)

Thanksgiving Break has started!!

turkey hat

Today was my last day of school before Thanksgiving!  I had a fun day, and I think my students did too.  We made these turkey hats today.  They looked so cute walking out of school with them on.  I feel very blessed to be a teacher.  I am at an awesome school and have an amazing team of teachers to work with.  The other three first grade teachers and I get along very well and have fun together!  I also have a wonderful group of students!  I love it!

Below is Mark Hoppus’ most recent post on his blog.  To sum it up the boys of Blink have been TALKING!!!!  No promise of the band getting back together, but they are working things out.

“in the midst of everything else that has happened lately, tom, travis, and i have all spoken together. first through a number of phone calls, and then a couple of weeks ago we all hung out for a few hours. they’ve all been great, very positive conversations. we’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking. it’s a good thing. obviously the first question for a lot of people will be “does this mean a blink-182 reunion?” the answer is none of us know. we haven’t talked about it at all. right now it’s just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect, and let the past be the past. the events of the past two months supersede everything that happened before. life is too short.” -Mark Hoppus

Jim and Kathy’s Visit

Jim & Kathy’s visit

Jim and Kathy visited last weekend to help celebrate Scott’s birthday. We had a great time together. We went shopping, watched movies, played games, went out to eat and relaxed while they were here. Jim and Kathy gave Scott season 1 of Chuck. We got hooked on the show and watched all of it!

On Sunday night the four of us went to my parents to celebrate Scott’s birthday. They had friends over which was a surprise to Scott! It was fun having Jim and Kathy meet our friends. It was a perfect vacation!!
