I read “Feakonomics: The Rogue Economist Explores The Hidden Side of Everything” by Steven D, Levitt and Stephen J Dubner this week. What a great book – despite the fact they attack Real Estate Agents. They bring out “truths” that amazed me. The book should offend just about anyone who has taken sides on important issues over the last few years. It’s only 200 + pages and a very quick read. Did you every wonder why drug dealers still live with their moms if drug dealing is such a lucrative job? What about the affect of baby names. How about what are the key factors in a child’s success? This book does a fairly good job in answering those and many other interesting questions. Who should get the credit for the unexpected drop in the crime rate of the mid 1990’s?
I enjoyed it quite a bit.
good.
