I saw Tristan and Isolde with Chels and Scott last night. It’s a pretty good movie; of course I like any movie with swords and fighting. I’m no good at reviewing movies so here’s a link to real reviews.

Top Ten Movies of 2005
Monday, January 2nd, 2006Ok here’s my list for 2005 – with one being my favorite:
2: King Kong
3: Munich
8: Crash (saw on DVD)
10: Rent (OK no one but June, Shane, Alli and me liked it)
by the way Jerry has just challenged me to a bet – which I need some help on. (you can tell I wasn’t an English major.) Here’s the bet. We each pick five candidates for best picture, best actor and best actress and whomever does the best as measured by awards wins. please email me your ideas – jerry might read this site and i don’t want him to have any extra help. thanks
Top Ten Books of 2005
Monday, January 2nd, 2006Here’s my list for my favorite books I read in 2005: (with number one being my very favorite.) 1: The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman
2: Freakeconomics by (can’t remember author name – Travis has my copy)
3: The Price of Loyalty by Ron Suskind
4: His Excellence – George Washington by Joseph Ellis
6: The Camel Club by David Baldacci
7: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
8: Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
9: California Girl by T. Jefferson Parker
I’m sure I’m not thinking of some books that I read but all of these are great books. I think all of them were published in 2004 or 2005 with the exception of Angels and Demons and possibility The Protector.
