this cake was entered into the cake contest in a outright attempt to influence the vote of the 2 judges – Alli and me. It didn’t work.

Here are 2 pictures from the weekend retreat.

The story behind the cake is simple.  Alli and I were judges for the cake contest and one of the teams decided to kiss up.  it didn’t help them much, but at least it was fun.

The “no Brad” signs were above every register vent, last year I dropped my memory stick in a register and it took a few of us about 2 hours to get it out.  Steve Wall decided that he didn’t have that much time this year so he posted the signs.

The retreat has been a lot of fun and a time for good personal and corporate growth.  June and I are coming home each night so we can sleep in a better bed.  it’s worth the drive.
