A sales tax vote to renovate the Royals’ home and the NFL Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium was approved by Jackson County, Mo., voters on Tuesday night.
The infusion of funds will provide renovations considered long overdue for the Royals to compete in today’s baseball market. In addition, Commissioner Bud Selig has promised Kansas City an All-Star Game between 2010 and 2014 after the stadium project is completed.
I couldn’t vote because I live on the other side of the state line. If i had voted i think i would have voted for “A” which passed and will rebuild the ballpark and voted against “B” which would have put a roof on both the football and baseball park.

Monday, April 3rd, 2006This Painting is by Erik Wahl. I attended one of his lectures 2 weeks ago. He painted this and one other during his talk. Choreographed to a series of powerful patriotic video images and music, Erik uses this painting as a catalyst to launch his programs on a dramatic high note.
Very Cool. It might be a while before I frame it, can’t decide what type of frame will be best. I’m also having trouble finding the right place to put it. Right now I’m thinking about placing it it the den above the piano.
