Sunday, July 23rd, 2006I don’t know if having 2 bobble heads constitutes a collection or not, any ideas?
Weill, I now have 2. For my birthday Chelsea and Scott gave me the Dwight. I got the Paul in the 60’s from my sister.

The Bet – Deja Vu all over again
Sunday, July 23rd, 2006OK – I haven’t posted about the since i was up by about 26 points. As of today, my lead has slipped to 6. Am I worried? Yes! you can get your up to date score here.
This is a very similar pattern to what happened last season. I’m just hoping my teams have enough gas to carry me across the finish line with another victory.
I should also point out that Jerry called yesterday to complain that I hadn’t posted any news about the bet since he started his comeback.

Quote of the Day – July 21 (Carol’s Birthday)
Friday, July 21st, 2006“To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.”
– William Channing

Thursday, July 20th, 2006Every night I listen to the sound of the street Lying in my bed I love to see the dreams that are dancing there In the light above your head And sometimes I get so weary And when hope is caving in You fill me with your love and your laughter, baby Until I get back up again
Carrying your smile with me
