We got very lucky and were able to watch Gabe and Sadie on Saturday night when my mom was in town. They were both so much fun. click on the photo to see the whole set.

My Mom and brother Glennn were out for a few days last week and we went up to Graceland on Thursday. It had been 12 years since my mom had been on campus and 84 since she enrolled as a freshman!
Glennn hadn’t been on campus in about 27 years. I think they both enjoyed the trip.
Other than the trip to Iowa we mainly sat around and visited. We did go out to look at real estate and go to church – but mostly visiting and watching the world series.
We are hoping mom well come back at Christmas for her next visit.

Alli’s art show was a great success last night. Unfortunately my battery died and i was only able to get a few photos (Shane said it was OK to take pictures as long as i didn’t claim to have painted the pictures.)

Liberty Memorial View

If you haven’t been to the top of the Liberty Memorial to see this view, I recommend you go. The museum is just as worthwhile, however, it doesn’t offer the photo opportunities the memorial does.
