Cows – Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that, when investigating Mad Cow disease, our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington ? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow. - Unknown

The Constitution – They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don’t we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we’re not using it anymore. –Unknown submitted by Charles Larkin

A New contest for February!!!

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

I know that there has been some grumbling because we here at the triple b haven’t hosted a contest yet in February. It’s time to stop your grumbling and start your … start whatever it is you use to remember (or guess). The contest is very simple, the first person to correctly identify the author of the following poem is the winner. The winner will have their bio featured on the bbb and also be given the opportunity to be a guest poster on the bbb.

good luck to all. (as always the decision of the judges is final!)

Sixty-one and so much more

Gone The pitcher releases the ball toward teh squatted catcher. He can never have that one back. Gone The ball is hit over the fence and never to be returned by the fan. He can never have that one back. Gone The record once help by the Babe has been broken by someone without a name. He can never have that one back. Gone With one pitch, swing, and catch all is gone and never to be returned. Gone Sixty-one is now just a number.
