My First 2 Days

I have been having a great time at school. I have been staying busy with my friends here and all the activities going on. That keeps me from missing Scott as much…but I still REALLY miss him. I miss him at lunch, dinner, when I am stuffing mailboxes without him (he used to help me!), and every afternoon/night when we used to hang out. So, I guess that is a lot of my day but I am doing good! I have great friends that make me laugh a lot.
I have gone to all of my classes and like them. I think this semester is going to help me feel more prepared to teach.
(I put this picture up because it is one of my favorite pictures from summer. That was such a fun night!)

Week182

Summer Highlights:

  1. Baby-sitting Gabe =)

  3. Drinking Nordstrom’s coffee smoothies (my favorite drink!)
  4. Seeing my friends from California; Kristen, Sarah, and Julia
  5. Going to the movies for free!
  6. Hanging out with my family and friends
  7. Working on my scrapbooks (I worked on 5)
  8. The Harry Potter Party
  9. Erin and Kyle’s wedding
  10. T & R spending two weeks here while my parents were out of town!

Cute Little Guy!

Today was my last day to babysit Gabe, and I am a bit sad. He is such a cute little guy and so much fun to play with. If everything works out I will babysit him in a little over a month, but that is not soon enough! I will miss seeing him twice a week.

Funny How Things Workout

Last night Travis and Rachel made a hard and sad decision that left them on the verge of tears. They decided to sell their Ford Ranger that they have many memories with. Around the time when they were making this decision Scott could not get his car to start in the AMC parking lot. Scott found out today his car is not worth the money to fix it, and so he is buying Travis and Rachel’s truck! Travis and Rachel feel better knowing their special red truck is going to someone they know, and Scott is pleased to be getting a better vehicle. This is such a great deal for everyone. It is so funny how things workout!

New Little Friend

alligator This is my new little friend, Alice. In my opinion, she is an adorable alligator. Alice is apart of the Krinkles line by Department 56 and is a Christmas decoration. She is out in my room and will stay there until after Christmas! It’s never too soon to start decorating for the holidays.
