I have joined this thing called Facebook. It’s not near as good as a blog but somewhat like it. There are 36 other Chelsea Johnsons that are members of Facebook. That is so crazy…I just can’t get over the fact that other people have my name. I get to keep my name forever and they will have to change there name one day if they get married! I searched to see how many Scott Johnsons there are and there are 118!!! That is too crazy..my Scott’s the best though!

I love these pink dishes and am thinking about getting them instead of the white Pottery Barn dishes we were thinking about getting. Scott said we can get them but he does not want pink to totally take over every room. I understand how he feels so I thought our bedroom could have less pink in it compared to other rooms. I like these two paisley duvet covers (below). I think Scott would be happy with them also. It is so fun to think about all of this!

Bridesmaids!

I have now asked all of my bridesmaids to be in my wedding! Last night all our family came over (well almost…we were missing some!) for dinner. I asked Jen and Nicole by giving them a Coach picture key chain with a picture of us on one side and a note on the other that said, “Will you be one of my bridesmaids since you are such a key part of my life?!†I asked Sara and Lindsay the same way!
When I asked Rachel I was so excited I did not come up with any cute ideas I just did it at a baseball game…sorry for not being creative Rachel! The same was for Erin, I had to ask her before she move out of the country so I did not have much time.
Any ways, I am very excited. Scott and I also asked Liam and Gabe to be our ring bearers. They are going to be the cutest ring bearers ever!! Scott asked Aaron and Elias to be ushers last night also.
The 3 Little Pigs

One of my favorite books, right along with Harold and the Purple Crayon, was The Three Little Hawaiian Pigs and the Magic Shark. I liked this book before I wanted a pig as a pet! I believe my parents gave this to me as a souvenir from Hawaii when I was little. I loved this book and have tried to find it at home but have had no luck. I am going to give it one more shot and try to find it this weekend but if I am unsuccessful then I am buying it from Amazon along with Alaska’s Three Pigs.

Tuesday, September 20th, 2005This past weekend was great. P1 is right, I should not sweat the small stuff..but ohhh that is hard sometimes! The retreat was good and when I got off the bus from it Scott was waiting for me! That was exciting. I got to spend 12 hours straight with him on Sunday. We went to Des Moines with Colin in the afternoon. We shopped at Jordan Creek Mall for a little bit, Best Buy, Target, and then ate at The Olive Garden. It was fun. On Monday I got to spend two hours with him, and then he had to leave.
Last night I was in a lip sync/dance contest with four of my friends and we got second place! We are going to the Coffee Shop to celebrate and spend part of the $50 we won.
I like my bed!
Friday, September 16th, 2005This weekend I am leaving for a CCLP retreat. I am not too excited about it. I am not crazy about sleeping and getting ready somewhere else. I wish we could have the retreat on campus, but I know once I get there it will be fun.
The good news is that when I come back to school on Sunday Scott will be here! I am so excited to see him. He’s coming up Saturday night to see friends and will then hang out with me on Sunday. He has to leave Monday at 12:00, but I will see him for the next TWO weekends so it will be okay!! Only two more days untill I see him! Yea!!!

Tuesday, September 13th, 2005In one of my classes today we had to take home a palm pilot to play around with. I didn’t want to because I am happy with the planner I have. I do not feel the need to learn about this new technology. My mom had feeling similar to mine when she got a new phone. I understand how she feels!
Wedding Update!
Monday, September 12th, 2005This past weekend I went home to see Scott and try on wedding dresses with my mom, my Aunt Jeanne, and my grandma! It was a successful trip because I found one I love! I am so excited! My dress will not come in until December.
The other exciting news is that on Sunday night I asked Lindsay and Sara to be my bridesmaids! I am so happy! I can’t wait for my wedding!
I’m only buying ONE C.D. this time.
Wednesday, September 7th, 2005Blink-182’s greatest hits album is coming to stores November 1st. You’d think I’d be excited, but I’m sad. I would rather them have a new C.D. come out then this C.D. full of songs I have. What is going on?
Tom may have written an e-mail to a punk web site, or it may have been some crazy person trying to be funny. He wrote he’s in a new band that plays amazing (he really stressed this) music and that soon we will know what happened to Blink-182. He ended saying, “I love my fans, and I promise I will not let you down, the music that we all grew to cherish that was made, not only will continue, but it will be much, much better.â€
Nothing can be better then Blink-182 but at least he is trying.
