Riley182

Riley has been with us for the past few days because Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Greg are in California with Elias, Jen, Gabe and Sadie. I love having him around. Every time Scott and I come in the door he is SO EXCITED to see us…even when we step outside for a minute! He is such a good and cute little dog. He goes home tomorrow. I am really going to miss him.

I agree with Gabe…

Last night my car would not start, and this morning my parents and I had to PUSH it to a Goodyear to get it fixed.  (Scott was at work.)  It is sometimes just not fun being grown up.  I would MUCH rather spend my Christmas money from my parents on kitchen chairs, but I now have to spend it on my car.  I guess that’s life and everyone has to deal with their broken down car at sometime!

Anyways, that brings me to the title of my post… The other day Gabe told his dad it was hard being a big boy!  I agree with him, it’s hard being a “big girl!”

P.S.- I had to put this post under “Yea182″ but it’s really not a “Yea182″ type of post!!

P.S.S-I would also like to say “thank you” to  Uncle Greg, Aunt Jeanne and my mom for playing car swap with me tomorrow!!

Rock Band 24/7

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

On my snow day Scott and I got Rock Band, and Scott’s been playing it ever since! He LOVES it!! The game is really neat. You can design your own person and give them awesome clothes, accessories and tattoos. I gave my girl white-blond hair with pink bangs, bracelets up to her elbows, a cute pink jacket and fun shoes!! I find that part of the game just as fun as singing! I am finally able to live out my dream of being a punk rock singer!! Oh, and the best news is that Scott just unlocked “All the Small Thing” by Blink-182.

My last Christmas Present!

charm

Today my last Christmas present from Scott arrived in the mail! It’s this flip-flop charm with “Scott” engraved on the bottom of it. This is a sentimental and perfect gift!

Scott and I bought yellow flip-flop key chains from Old Navy during the first few months we were dating, right before summer. We each wrote our name on the other’s flip-flop. I kept it on my keychain until it broke off. Of course, I still have it! As a joke, Travis and Rachel brought me a flip-flop with their names on the bottom of it when they were in Hawaii, during their honeymoon. That one is in my car.

Things for Spring

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

Christmas was just a few weeks ago, and I got more nice things than I could imagine.  Although, I have managed to find cute new items that are out for spring.  I LOVE the Pottery Barn pillow with the bright buttons all over it.  It is a fun accent piece and the colors match my house.  The pig from Ballard Design is awesome!  It would look great in my room.  I have wanted the oval stoneware basket from William Sonoma for a year now.  They sold out of it for a while but have brought it back!  I was excited when I saw it in the magazine.  I would really enjoy checking the time on the PINK clock face!

182 days until…

Saturday, January 5th, 2008

It is 182 days until my friends, Matthew and Lindsay, get married!!  Yea!  I am so excited for them.  It does not feel like that long ago when Scott and I were celebrating 182 days until our wedding!

Christmas ‘07

Christmas 2007

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

I have had a wonderful Christmas break. Scott had the days leading up to Christmas and Christmas Day off, which was awesome! Travis and Rachel arrived the Friday before Christmas. I had a great time hanging out with them. Christmas Eve and Day was perfect. I love our tradition of family spending the night at my parent’s house. My dad put together another great Christmas Eve game. I think everyone had fun playing it. On Christmas morning we took our time opening gifts and sharing what we had gotten with everyone. I love all of my gifts!! Later that day we went to the Mann’s house for a late lunch. The next night Fred, Lu and Isabel came to town for another Christmas celebration. I have really enjoyed this past week since Christmas hanging out with family. We played the Mexican Train Game a lot this week!! One day Travis, Dad and I played it for about 2½ hours. We also went to The Plaza, Town Center, the mall, saw movies, rented movies and played games. Keith and Sarah came to town for a few days! It was great to see them. The guys mostly played video games, so Sarah and I watched movies and shopped! Yesterday we took T&R to the airport, which was a little sad. I had a great break and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful, fun and loving family. Christmas Morning
